Jenessa Backus is the Director of Transactions for Merna Elaggar’s Team out of Bellevue, WA. She first partnered with Merna back in 2022 and has recently divulged deeper into the business, approaching each unique challenge with gusto. Upon joining the team, Jenessa brought along nearly 20 years of mixed-industry experience with her. As someone who thrives off complexity, Jenessa understands that real estate investment is a sophisticated and deeply personal journey for our clientele, family, and friends and uses her wide perspective to realize the results by being the one to trust throughout the process.

Jenessa understands what it really means to serve people by staying focused and working towards giving back to the communities that raised her. A PNW native, Jenessa is a wife and mother. She's an avid reader and takes pride in spending time with her family. Jenessa is an advocate for sustainability, creativity, and homesteading. She enjoys hiking, camping, and swimming all throughout the Pacific Northwest.
